I hit Luxembourg for the first time! You can still smoke here, and already it seems wierd, and your person stinks after one night out such as this.

modest mouse 23rd May Royal Albert Hall
I meet with C, B and L in Hyde Park for a lovely picnic as the sun goes down. We head over for my first time in the royal Albert hall, where I was v. disappointed with the sound quality. But when I got home the camera picked up a much better sound. as you can see for yourself.

camera obscura Koko
Camera Obscura gently push us off to a month of many gigs. We are shocked at the price of beer at Koko!

Sally and Liz's itty bitty christmas skewers
These are from Karl's holiday recipie and very yummy. Wrap bacon around houllami cheese, add as desired a selection of Mango, pineapple, red and green pepper, (giving a lovely christmasy look!), onto cocktail sticks, then grill, turning, until the bacon all cooked and cheese nice and brown. Delicious.

Celebrity Chef Series: Part 1 Gordon comes to HC
Ramsay came to work today. I got him to sign my book. Whilst having some witty remark lined up to get him to dedicate to mum, whom I was getting my book signed for, I bottled it in the end. I came over all shakey and hot. He's ever so handsome. Anyway I wasn't shameless enough not to get a few snaps on my snazzy straight to blog phone!

Cousin Sally
We have cousin Sally staying at the moment. She's from Australia and has just spent the summer in Mykonos being a tour rep. Party girl Sally. This is a particulary flattering photo don't you think? Anywho, lovely Sally took us to our local, The Swimmer at the Grafton Arms, for dinner. I had a great steak with Peppercorn sauce, cooked nicely Medium Rare. New ladies behind the bar, which while nice enough gave me lemonade and lime cordial instead of lime and bitters. Still irks. Luckily not for me as I wanted beer, the bitters was for Sally. M think's I shouldn't dwell.

Blogging my blog
This is bloggin' my blog, as referred to in the title, and my breakfast. Never fear though as I am coming up with a project that will be mind blogglingly interesting. In case you're wondering that IS the Champagne pool in Rotorua on my calendar next to the crispbread - which are vile by the way, should nvere have doubted the rice crackers. See if you can spot my thimble collection.

I like drummer's
Went to see gig last night. Herman Dune, obviously. I liked the drummer. They were folky, or 'anti-folk'. I think I liked Jeffery and Jack Lewis better. They draw pictures. But these guys were good too. You can refer to Mr Turoa's blog for a more detailed review.
